Curriculum Vitae

Xenia Arapaki is a graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Athens and holds a PhD in Education from the Department of Preschool Education, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

She is a faculty member at the Department of Primary Education of the University of Patras and teaches the graduate courses: "Didactics of Visual Arts", "Special Topics in Didactics of Visual Arts", "History of Art – Art analysis of art works" and "Didactics of Ceramic Art". She has taught also graduate courses at the University of Patras, the University of Cyprus and training courses in the School of kindergarten and primary teachers' Training  (Marasleio Didaskaleio) in Athens.

She has published numerous research articles in international and Greek journals/conference proceedings, as well as book chapters.

She has participated and participates in European research programs. She is reviewer is Greek scientific journals and member of the scientific committee of numerous Greek conferences. As a visual artist, she has presented her work in many solo and group exhibitions.
